That is true, but you can add a comment to the blog for free and list your contact information and the $300.00 gives you exclusive advertising in the county of your choice.
It's very amateur. The idea of using a traffic directional signs is cute but way overdone. The logo resolution is very poor and the branding is inconsistent - is it promoting Americas Housing 101, Americas Housing Educators LLC, or the more grammatically correct America's Housing Educators? The family picture, while nice, is distorted. The stop sign shape is not even correct. Do they honestly expect someone to navigate by scrolling all the way down until they find the site map?
There should be more though put into organizing the various services. If this is representative of the service provider, then I would not call them educators. If they aren't organized, how will they help homeowners efficiently get the information and/or support they need? Advertisers would be crazy to associate themselves with such a site.
This website is a classic example of the old school (and incorrect) way of doing things. Site visitors don't care about YOU the company; they want to know the benefits that THEY can get by investing time on your site. Everything should be consumer-focused. The content below the heading "How our home buyers education program works" doesn't even answer the question. It talks about the company's goals, objectives and purpose of the website - and buries the answer in between before ending off with the business philosophy.
IMHO, more work is required but it is a great attempt to share info with prospective homeowners.
