My job as a Realtor is to help the seller in some areas of expertise.

I will help the seller figure what the asking price should be.

Guide him/her with the process from the first open house and beyond the closing of the house.

The biggest problem is how to price the house right, the first time.

Today we are facing a buyer's market. Most houses will sell for much less.

If there is a demand then hopefully the seller will get more than one offer.

Snow? What Snow...? )

Friday afternoon I finished my last appointment with a client who was going to drive to Vermont From Lynbrook.

It is about 5 hours drive and all the weather reports are predicting that a major snow storm is approaching.

Well, I came home and check my snow blower and made sure it was in good working condition.

Friday night I waited for the snow and, while waiting, I started posting beautiful pictures on AR.

Is the house ready to be taken...

Before putting the on the market you need to do some homework:

Looking at the exterior of the house check for signs of damage to the roof such as missing shingles, chimney cover,gutters

are they secured or loose? Are they clean inside?

Windows and door frame do you need to caulk them.

Any cracks in the foundation?

Is the siding in good condition? Any signs of mold?
